How to: 1 Paper-4 Projects

Decoupage has become a real art form again! As an old-timer in the diy field, I can say it is an old art form with a new twist. I love the new twist; these wonderful printed 20″ by 30″ decoupage papers make the craft so much more fun and certainly more creative! The paper we are going to use today is the Roycyled Farmhouse Blocks Decoupage tissue. A favorite for this country girl!

Project 1

Our first project for the one sheet of Roycycled Decoupage paper is this sap bucket turned into a grungy farm bucket. You can see the whole process on our YouTube video below.

Project 2

Our second project is made exactly the same way as the above bucket with a different part of the paper. The Roycycled Decoupage Paper project blocks are divided into multiple designs that are easily adapted to multiple projects. Here we used another sap bucket to do the bucket in the same style as the grungy farm bucket above.

Project 3

This old washboard has been in my stash for many years and I just didn’t know what to do with it. Why not put a vintage style decoupage label on it from the Farmhouse Block paper? We created this in our Wednesday “Shop my Stash Class” below. A little bit tricker to use a rippled board but I love the way it came out.

Project 4

Project 4 was a great use of the ticking stripe on the Roycyled Paper. Again I used an old board, this one was once a wine rack before it fell apart. Decoupaged the board after painting and then a bit of a Saltwash finish before we attached the coat hooks to make it a vintage coat rack.

I will probably always be a Farmhouse Style decorator so these projects with this paper really is my jam. If you are new to decoupage, be sure to visit the Roycycled Facebook group and check out all the videos for instruction and inspiration.
