Budget Wildflowers for Your Valentine
Time to start thinking about the next holiday, Valentine’s Day in the shop. A dozen red roses can be pretty pricey right now, so let’s get creative!
We painted several of these vintage sap buckets with chalkboard paint several years ago and have used them for every holiday celebration by just changing the sentiment.
Rumor has it that hand-picked wildflowers are the most romantic bouquets a girl could get, pretty hard to come by these days in Vermont when we have a foot of snow on the ground. You can make an almost wildflower bouquet with some daisies and some mums that look like black-eyed- susans then add some red alstromeria for color, throw in a bit of greenery and you have an almost Wildflower Bouquet on a budget that will knock her socks off or his socks off! There are lots of ways to diy with chalkboard paint on almost any surface so have fun and get creative! Would love to see any ideas you might come up with. I still have a few of these buckets left, let me know if you want one.
Valentine’s Day is a great opportunity to do something creative for the people you love, it may take a bit of your time but you can really make it special with very little money!
Have fun!
