Desperado IOD Transfer Projects

Desperado IOD Transfer is a little different than all the transfers you’ve come to expect from IOD or the Iron Orchid Design team. It has a wonderful southwest vibe and would be perfect for any room decor. I’ve used one whole transfer in this post and then one sheet of flowers from a 2nd transfer. Of course you know me “never enough flowers!

Desperado IOD Transfer

The first pieces of the Desperado Transfer I used were the longhorn steer skull and the writing. Fit perfectly on the buffet I was finishing for my son’s family. Below is the side view where I put the flowers. The other side has the extra flower sheet.Equally important are the drawers and have just a small amount of the border designs you will find in this transfer. Remember 8 pages of designs come with the Desperado Transfer!

After finishing the buffet, it was time for some wall art. The large buffalo and the Emerson quote were a shoe-in for favorites! Again I used just a bit of the border designs to continue the southwest feel throughout.

The next piece of wall art is an advertisement for a concert. Perfect southwest vibe for anyone who likes vintage advertisement or ephemera. Who doesn’t love Blue Grass, Jazz and Blues? Every project I created in the Desperado Transfer Projects, I used the southwest borders which I found to be a huge asset to the design. I think I still have some left because there are 2 whole sheets of borders for your designing pleasure!

Also there are 2 buffalo in the Desperado Transfer one large and one small. This little guy below made the perfect wall art using our 8″x10″ project block, and a little distress stamp. Finishing it off with the borders around the frame. One of my favorites!

The Final Pieces of The Desperado IOD Transfer Projects

My finial 2 projects, this old tin bucket which I painted and distressed and then added the cacti and a few more pieces of the borders. To say nothing of the little sign, my finial project. Last but not least the wall sign which says “SELAH”-rest-meditate-pause.
