Monogram It with IOD Stamps
Monogram it with IOD stamps explores stamping techniques personalizing gifts with a monogram. Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) has created 7 unique fonts for use in making monograms however never forget the Alphabellies stamp!. When you add that Alphabellies stamp, you have one very pretty, original monogram to use on your creations. I made several of these little pillows for gifts. Some of them were pin cushions and some I added lavender to make sachets. All the monogrammed gifts I made were so appreciated that it made me wonder why I took so long to pursue this craft!

Monogram Stamping on Pillows
I love the look of a monogram on a pillow. These little sachet/pin cushions are perfect for our stamp monograms. Here is the first step after you pre-wash your fabric and cut out the heart shape. Go ahead and stamp that fabric if you have washed and dried it without fabric softener. I use a linen fabric for the monogram but a wool fabric for the pillow base.

These keepsake boxes below can be found at craft stores or use the link to get the perfect size box to make as a gift. I used the Wander Transfer to decorate my box and the Typesetting Stamp for the monogram as well as the New Letterpress Stamp. Love IOD Stamping techniques! And in case I forgot to tell you that great crackle texture is from the Vintage Textures stamp! My most used stamp for sure.

The very last gift I made was a pin cushion for a granddaughter who probably doesn’t think she needs it but you never know when you may have to take a stitch! I love making these so much, I think I may make some to sell on Etsy!
