Who is wise owl?

Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint was born from a need to bring things back to life. There is an extraordinary sense of bliss that comes with rescuing an item from injury; from the trash; or simply to bring it back to being a cherished piece once again. Chalk synthesis paint

Chalk Synthesis Paint is often referred to as our “chalk-style paint”. It is a clay-based mineral paint that is incredibly smooth with unbelievable adhesion and rich color pigmentation. Our Chalk Synthesis Paint makes painting furniture simple and easy; it’s also perfect for creative blended, layered, or distressed finishes. Be sure to seal your painted furniture with any of our top coats or finishing products to protect your paint so it stands the test of time. To take your furniture painting to the next level, try one of our glazes.

Available in Pints, Quarts, and Gallons. A pint (16oz by volume) covers approximately 80sq feet & a Quart (32oz by volume) covers approximately 160sq feet.

One hour enamel

Our One Hour Enamel Paint also known as OHE, is an incredibly tough, tenacious, fast-drying acrylic enamel for interior and exterior use on surfaces that require a quick return to service and an abrasion-resistant finish. Our One Hour Enamel (OHE) is a total game-changer for both professionals and DIY’ers alike!  Our water-based enamel formula made primarily for Kitchen Cabinets and Front Doors, has a stone-like Satin topcoat built-in. It is a great choice for painting cabinets, trim, or updating exterior and interior doors.  This quick cure formula knocks out projects in record time.

Available in Quarts and Gallons. Coverage per Gallon is approximately 400sq feet.

One Hour Enamel paint is available in many,  gorgeous colors, please note that colors will vary depending on your screen settings.

Wise Owl Paint™ Wisdom for PRO Results

  • Do not overwork. Lay down enough paint so that it has enough product to self-level but avoid drips.
  • Do not use Wax over Enamel.
  • The recommended recoat time is 2 hours.
  • Use our  before for superior adhesion.
  • Use a microfiber 3/16 inch roller.  If spraying, you may thin with water if needed but not more than 10%.
  • If using  over Enamel, no need to use Varnish first. Apply glaze right over enamel. Must seal the glaze with  varnish or One Hour Clear.
  • Do NOT use clear shellac as a primer with One Hour Enamel! It will cause the paint to crackle.

one hour ceramic

One Hour Ceramic, Luxury Interior paint formulated with ceramic technology for durability.

ONE HOUR CERAMIC is 100% acrylic matte wall paint, formulated with ceramic microspheres that offers superior stain resistance properties. Fingerprints, soil, grease, and many other stains wash off with mild soap and water without harming the film. Recommended for interior walls and ceilings. One Hour Ceramic offers spatter resistant application with unparalleled coverage and wash-ability.

ONE HOUR CERAMIC is self-priming on drywall and cured plaster or masonry substrates, bare metal or wood should be primed with Wise Owl Stain Eliminating Primer. The ONE HOUR CERAMIC is a durable low odor, low VOC product making it perfect for any room in your home. The luxurious matte finish combines a satin smooth finish with the depth of color typically found in enamels.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Surface must be dry and free of dirt, oils, and loose flaking paint. This product will adhere with ease to most surfaces that are clean, dry, and dull. When priming is needed, Wise Owl Stain Eliminating Primer is recommended.

APPLICATION: Stir thoroughly before using. ONE HOUR CERAMIC may be applied by brush, roll or airless spray. To achieve the best results use a high quality synthetic brush and 3/8” nap woven roller cover. Flow on generously, brushing lightly from the unpainted into the painted areas. For spray application, this product may be thinned with water NOT TO EXCEED ONE PINT PER GALLON.

CLEAN UP: Clean brushes and roller in soapy water immediately after painting.

TECHNICAL DATA: Recommended spreading rate is 350 to 400 sq. ft. per gallon. Finish will dry to the touch in approximately 1 hour. Another coat can be applied within 4 hours. Do not apply when surface temperature is below 50 degrees F. Thin sparingly with water.

Metallic paint
